Makeda has contributed to the cultivation of Pangea since the beginning. She has always been a favored muse. She is inspiration in body and mind. I’ve wanted to create captures with her since her first commentary here in the Garden. But I am in Atlanta and while this New York resident travels frequently, the sensual strength guru was always busy training her clients and hosting workshops. But as fortune would have it, she and I and stylist Nobella were able to come together to create this set of  images. We hope that you like them and I think she should do more. Don’t you?

This past Saturday Night was Spread Love’s annual Felabration party. This party is a celebration of the music and life of Fela Kuti . This Felabration was special because the musical FELA ! was here in Atlanta that week, and it was the 10th anniversary of Rich Medina’s Jump N Funk Party .
