Vincent's visions of a Lakeside Stroll...

Recently I posted Hafees Byard's images of an early morning stroll with ButtahFly and Hershey along a lakeside in Georgia. I was there shooting too and I thought I take a moment and share some of my captures as well.

The morning was a glorious miracle that reminded me what tend to take for granted, assuming it will be there tomorrow. I hope these images reflect how much I revel in the Grace bestowed upon us.

And I look forward to doing it again.

As an EarthSista, Hershey has made her presence felt in the Garden and ButtahFly is well on her way of doing the same. I hope you like the captures I created here.

Hafees' Lakeside Stroll...

I am part of group of Photographers and Models who get together, every now and then, for some casual shooting. And last week we went on a lakeside stroll. I got a few great shots and I will probably post them later but right now I want to focus on the captures of Hafees Byard.

Born in South Philly, now residing in Atlanta, Hafees discovered his true passion for photography a few years ago. He says he loves to capture images of life and turn them into art.

You can see a wider variety of his works here and here. Enjoy!

Cold as Ice!

It was 30 degrees outside when I took these pictures. My model, Aiesha, didn't seem to be bothered at all! I was freezing! :)

Chasing Waterfalls

Last month I went on an invigorating trip with my boyfriend. I needed time to get away and relax amidst nature. He took me far away to a place that I never thought would have existed here. We trekked through the woods with only the wind guiding us until I heard the glorious sound of rushing water. I've always had an affinity for water. Growing up on an island may have something to do with it. I can't swim, but I find that water calms me and soothes my soul.

Once I saw it, I was astonished! I began jumping around like a little child--I only wished I had brought my swimsuit.:)

It was silent, except for the sound of the rushing waters. We were alone with nature and I took the time to reflect and meditate.

Chase those waterfalls--no sense in sticking to the monotonous! Life is too rich!

Eat to Live

Eating well enhances your quality of life. Ultimately, a diet filled with fresh fruits and vegetables will increase your vitality.

I've been a vegetarian and a naturalist(of sorts) for over 12 years now so promoting the veggie lifestyle through photography is a great thing. :)

Africa Revisited

The model, Sankan, was born in Liberia. Africa runs through her veins, so I found the perfect location that would transform her into her true self, an African Goddess.

As a painter first, my goal when working with models, is to paint a picture that tells a story. My ultimate goal is to take the model and viewer to another place.
