ButtahFly is legend

a moment from a humble beginning...

When I met ButtahFly she was doing this. Hustling her creativity on the street. And I saw it even then. A bright ball creative passion that would always find it outlet, always find it voice. Always hungry for an opportunity to express herself. I've never seen her stop.

In the few short months that I've known her I've seen a mix of intuitive creativity and passionate expression that has not only inspired me but many others and still continues to do so. ButtahFly may well be on her way towards leaving a mark that will last through history.

Yet when I met her she was doing this.

Who inherits the Earth?

You can check out some of her renderings here.
She does fabulous portraits.

Vincent's visions of a Lakeside Stroll...

Recently I posted Hafees Byard's images of an early morning stroll with ButtahFly and Hershey along a lakeside in Georgia. I was there shooting too and I thought I take a moment and share some of my captures as well.

The morning was a glorious miracle that reminded me what tend to take for granted, assuming it will be there tomorrow. I hope these images reflect how much I revel in the Grace bestowed upon us.

And I look forward to doing it again.

As an EarthSista, Hershey has made her presence felt in the Garden and ButtahFly is well on her way of doing the same. I hope you like the captures I created here.

If you haven't been to the online community recently, you should check it out. Makeda Voletta dishes much truth about fruits and vegetables and a ButtahFly spreads her wings in a raw, frank and provocative new image set.

a moment on Auburn Ave...

On a Saturday at the Autumn Sweet Auburn Festival in Atlanta... ButtahFly, the Street Artist/Poet and Hershey the Dancer and I found a really cool door. And a moment. We captured it.

Hafees' Lakeside Stroll...

I am part of group of Photographers and Models who get together, every now and then, for some casual shooting. And last week we went on a lakeside stroll. I got a few great shots and I will probably post them later but right now I want to focus on the captures of Hafees Byard.

Born in South Philly, now residing in Atlanta, Hafees discovered his true passion for photography a few years ago. He says he loves to capture images of life and turn them into art.

You can see a wider variety of his works here and here. Enjoy!
