Niemah's impulse

I met Niemah at the Malcolm X fest and asked her if she would want to do a shoot. It was an impulsive question and her yes was an impulsive answer. We kept in touch over the summer and, again on inpulse, we decided to do spontaneously create a few captures in the park.

From the summer... Body Art on the Rooftop Party

Over the summer a few of the earthSistas participated in an impromptu invite to an Art Party on the Rooftop. It disorganized and fabulous. The roof was cool and the skyline made for a beautiful backdrop. A large canvas was brought up and all the patrons at the party stepped up and painted on it. The earthSistas were painted on as well. It was a night to remember. We took a lot of shots to commemorate the night. So many that we created two image sets in the Garden. Check them out!

A Summer in the Garden... part 2

The earthSistas have really stepped up and out, participating in various events. And it has kept us extremely busy. We've had so much fun creating so many beautiful captures as well. (Look for the Lakeside Nature Stroll Series debuting soon at PangeasGarden.com.) We've done sporty fashion shoots, had a few parties including a rooftop adventure. The earthSistas even got noticed in the online magazine Zora & Alice. It was a provocative and informative interview with the Garden's Content Director Tafakari.

About a week after the RepJa shoot we, spontaneously, hooked with the real deal earthSista, Tara Baker, the Crochet Artist, and threw a little party called the Crochet Strut. This would, later, inspire another party event called the Funky Ass Party where the Garden models strutted their stuff again.
